Konferencja odb\u0119dzie si\u0119 15 maja 2023 roku. 
\nPoj\u0119cie troski, tradycyjnie poruszane w klasycznej etyce i\/lub feminizmie, jest coraz cz\u0119\u015bciej obecne w dyskusjach wok\u00f3\u0142 najbardziej dotkliwych problem\u00f3w wsp\u00f3\u0142czesno\u015bci, w tym: wojny, pandemii, kryzysu klimatycznego, niestabilno\u015bci politycznej, nier\u00f3wno\u015bci ekonomicznych. W dyskursie publicznym w krajach s\u0142owia\u0144skich – inaczej ni\u017c w krajach angloj\u0119zycznych i skandynawskich – mo\u017cna dostrzec fragmentaryzacj\u0119 rozumienia troski, o czym \u015bwiadczy m.in. niejednorodno\u015b\u0107 terminologiczna: angielskie care w j\u0119zyku polskim odpowiada takim terminom jak troska, opieka, us\u0142ugi medyczne, \u015bwiadczenie troski, zatroskanie, solidarno\u015b\u0107 spo\u0142eczna i inne. Mimo wielo\u015bci podej\u015b\u0107, opieka jest niezmiennie kojarzona z etyk\u0105 mi\u0142o\u015bci i czynienia dobra oraz przeciwstawiana indywidualistycznej koncepcji cz\u0142owieka jako „samotnej wyspy”.
\nTematem tej konferencji chcemy w\u0142\u0105czy\u0107 si\u0119 do akademickiej dyskusji nad rozwojem idei troski i jej realizacji w praktyce spo\u0142ecznej i instytucjonalnej, kulturze, j\u0119zyku, edukacji, polityce, prawodawstwie, ochronie \u015brodowiska i innych dziedzinach. Interesuj\u0105 nas unikalne postawy i praktyki troski w Europie \u015arodkowo-Wschodniej kszta\u0142towane w okresie po Traktacie Lizbo\u0144skim ustanawiaj\u0105cym Wsp\u00f3lnot\u0119 Europejsk\u0105 (2007).
\nBadacze z r\u00f3\u017cnych dyscyplin z obszaru nauk humanistycznych i spo\u0142ecznych przedstawi\u0105 r\u00f3\u017cne perspektywy pr\u00f3buj\u0105c odpowiedzie\u0107 na tak fundamentalne pytania jak:
