Workshops for students living in a UW dormitory

Dear Student,

Are you living in a UW dormitory? Finding it hard to settle into shared living? Not sure how to stay yourself in a diverse environment?

If any of this sounds familiar, we warmly invite you to join our two-part coaching workshop “From Different Worlds to One Home”, designed especially for UW dormitory residents — including both Polish and international students as well as PhD candidates.

Part 1: Understanding, Accepting, Connecting – A Guide for Diversity
Tuesday, 29 April | 9:30 AM – 4:30 PM
Part 2: How to Speak and Be Heard in a Tower of Babel – Communication Based on Needs and Understanding
Tuesday, 6 May | 9:30 AM – 4:30 PM

During the workshops, you’ll learn:

  • how to feel confident in any diverse group
  • practical tools for nonviolent communication (NVC)
  • how to set respectful boundaries
  • and much more…
